“There is no Sleepy Hollow on the Internet, no peaceful spot where contemplativeness can work its restorative magic. There is only the endless, mesmerizing buzz of the urban street.” Nicholas Carr, from The Shallows: What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains (New York: Norton, 2010)

As I was at work the other day on my break I took the time to look around the store, I looked at all the different types of people that came in and i looked at how my store is set up. i work at a grocery store but its a miniature one with only 6 aisles but its also a gas station as well. The store is located in Ludlow Kentucky and the people that you see come in really help you open your eyes and make you appreciate on what you have. Even though its an ugly place it helps make the place where i live at and the people I hang out with that much more beautiful.
