“There is no Sleepy Hollow on the Internet, no peaceful spot where contemplativeness can work its restorative magic. There is only the endless, mesmerizing buzz of the urban street.” Nicholas Carr, from The Shallows: What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains (New York: Norton, 2010)

Another place that is aesthetically pleasing to me is our campus. Thomas More has very aesthetically pleasing attributes. The open fields and the structures of the buildings give it a very warm feeling to me. It makes me feel like i can be at home here and is one of the major reasons i chose to come here. This campus is beautiful and it only keeps getting better.
