“There is no Sleepy Hollow on the Internet, no peaceful spot where contemplativeness can work its restorative magic. There is only the endless, mesmerizing buzz of the urban street.” Nicholas Carr, from The Shallows: What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains (New York: Norton, 2010)

Who I Am!!!
Hey there!!! My name is Audrey McCabe and I am currently a Junior Nursing Major. I have wanted to be a nursing major since I was in the seventh grade. I chose this major when I was helping my family care for my grandparents. I saw how much they benefited from it and the satisfaction that I and my family received from aiding them. I graduated from McNicholas High School in Anderson, Ohio in 2009. Throughout the course of my education I continued to strive towards my goal of becoming a nurse and while doing so, I learned where my true passions laid, labor and delivery nursing with a focus on nurse midwifery. Thanks to an english project in my sophomore year I had to do research on colleges and universities that had the program I was interested in; during this project I discovered TMC and began my delving into the nursing program I am currently in. Since my sophomore year I knew where I was going to attend college and glad I made the decision to attend TMC. I am an only child who came from a large extended family and I am glad to say that TMC has been a wonderful addition to that family. When I graduate in Spring of 2013, I will be glad to say I am a TMC BSN graduate!
